Jim Garvey Memorial Disability Resources Fair

Come enjoy this FREE event hosted by the Resource Center for Accessible Living (RCAL) and Saint James United Methodist Church, Saturday, October 24th 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., happening at 29 Pearl St., Kingston. We are excited to welcome the community to this event and provide free lunch to all attendees. The resource fair includes 20+ nonprofit organizations with information and resources. The first hour of this event is designated a sensory safe hour allowing attendees a more quiet experience and a slower pace connecting to vendors and other caregivers.

Workshops are free, taking place 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Topics this year include Dementia and Caregiving, Self-Advocacy Training, addressing School Refusal, representatives from local special needs summer camps will present about their camps and how to prepare young campers for camp, and more!
